Cairo, 6 December 2021 (Lana) Minister of Industry and Minerals Ahmed Abu Hisa discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Nevin Jami mechanism for starting a practical program for entry of Egyptian investors into Libya, especially in the industrial and mining sectors.

This came during a visit by Abu Hisa to Egypt, to explore the Egyptian experience in the field of investing in industrial zones and benefiting from economic expertise and progress of work in a number of major Egyptian factories, according to the official page of the Ministry.

The visit is part of a prior agreement with the high-level Egyptian delegation that visited Libya last Ramadan, as well as during the Libyan government delegation’s visit to Egypt in the past period, to sign a number of agreements between the two sides, including industrial agreements. Abu Hisa seeks through the visit to Egypt to implement the ministry's plans towards creating an industrial integration with neighboring countries, and spatial development internally and providing jobs for young people.
