The Minister of Transportation confirms the restart of the air route between Libya and Malta.

Tripoli, November 29, 2021 (LANA) - The Minister of Transport, "Mohammed Al-Shoubi" confirmed that the air line between Libya and Malta will be restarted soon after addressing all issues related to the reasons for the suspension of air traffic between the two countries.

This came during his meeting this morning, Monday, with Malta's ambassador to Libya "Charles Salibya" and Malta's consul, "Brian Zara", in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Wissam Al-Idrisi, and the head of the Airports Authority, "Mohamed Bait Al-Mal".

The meeting discussed some of the obstacles and impediments that caused the suspension of flights between Libya and Malta.

"Al-Shoubi" affirmed that he has reached to address all issues related to this regard, and that the air route between the two countries will be restarted soon.
