Brussels, November 26, 2021 (LANA) - The European Union's Special Representative for the African Sahel, Emanuela del Rey, affirmed that the stability of the situation in Libya can create great economic opportunities, given that Libya occupies a strategic position on the shore of the Mediterranean.

 Del Rey renewed the European Union's continuous support for missions operating in Libya, stressing that Libya does not need financial support, but rather political support, and that the European Union seeks with great interest to keep pace with democratic processes and pave the way for achieving stability and development in Libya.
