GENEVA, November 26, 2021 (LANA) - Deputy President of the Presidential Council (Abdullah Al-Lafi) met yesterday evening, Wednesday, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, in the presence of Minister of Justice Halima Al-Bousifi, and the Libyan delegate to the United Nations in Geneva, Tamim Bayou.
The meeting, which was held at the UNHCR headquarters in Geneva, dealt with coordinating prospects for cooperation in the path of national reconciliation and transitional justice, and what is related to the file of missing persons and mass graves in Tarhuna, and the migration file.
MP Al-Lafi affirmed the council's determination to continue the comprehensive national reconciliation project in which all Libyans participate, and not to allow impunity to build reconciliation and sustainable stability.
For her part, Mrs. Michelle Bachelet praised the efforts of the Presidential Council to alert the comprehensive national reconciliation project, which paves the way for Libya's stability, and expressed the commission's cooperation in the search for the missing.
