The High National Election Commission decides to exclude 25 candidates who it said have not met the criteria for running for post of president.

   Tripoli, November 25, 2021 (Lana) The High National Election Commission on Wednesday issued decision No. 79 by virtue of which it excluded 25 candidates who, it said did not meet the criteria for running for president.

 The Commission cited article 10 clause 7 for its decision, saying  some of the excluded candidates did not meet the criteria stipulated for in the afore-said article and article No. 11 in relation to others.

The excluded candidates included: Saif al-Islam Muammar Gaddafi - Bashir Saleh Bashir - Nouri Mohammed Boushmein - Mohammed Ahmed Sharif - Ali Zidan Mohammed - Osman Adam Ibrahim - Hatem Mohammed Al-Kour - Mohammed Khaled Al-Ghweil - Dhaw Abdullah Dhaw - Al-Mabrouk Juma Sultan , Abdul Rahim Al-Mabrouk Saeed , Adel Mohammed La Al-Moneim Al-Taher Al, Huni , Mohammed Ali Musa , Khaled Al-Maqtoof Ka'im, Mohammed Al-Hadi Al, Hutwash , Khaled Ammar Al-Baybus , Osama Abdul Majid Talish , Osama Khairallah Mohammed , Al-Mabrouk Mohammed Al-Mabrouk , Abdul Hadi Ibrahim Al-Hawij , Munir Sassi Khalifa , Zakaria Saeed Abdul Al-Ati , Salama Ibrahim Al-Ghweil , Fathi Mohammed bin Shattwan .
