Chamber for securing electoral processes inaugurated.

   Tripoli, 25 November 2021 (Lana) Interior Minister Khaled Mazen yesterday inaugurated the main chamber for securing elections in the General Directorate of Security Operations in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Ramadan Abu Jinnah.

 The event was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs General Mahmoud Saeed, the Director of the General Directorate of Security Operations Major General Ali Al-Nueissari and his assistant, the Director General of the High National Election Commission and a number of heads of bodies and directors of departments, officials and officers in the ministry and representatives of the security services.

Participants were briefed on the equipment contained in the chamber for the process of securing and protecting elections, communicating with other sub-rooms and coordinating the exchange of information, which will contribute to the success of the security work in securing electoral entitlement in December.

 On the sidelines of this opening ceremony was held to mark conclusion of first training session of the heads of the sub-operations chambers, to secure the electoral processes of the General Directorate of Security Operations, which involved twenty-five communication rooms in the electoral constituencies at the national level.
