Tunisia, November 23, 2021 (LANA) - A new meeting of the Joint Military Committee (5+5) was launched in Tunis today, Tuesday, to discuss the file of the expulsion of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya, according to what the committee stated on its official page.

   The committee held a meeting in early November in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the presence of representatives from Chad, Niger and Sudan.

   At the Tunis meeting, the committee will discuss how to implement what was previously agreed upon with the three countries regarding “establishing an effective communication and coordination mechanism to support the implementation of its action plan regarding the exit of mercenaries, foreign fighters and foreign forces from Libyan territory in a gradual, balanced, simultaneous and sequential process.”
