Tripoli, November 18, 2021 (LANA) - The Acting President of the Audit Bureau, "Alaa El-Din Mansour El-Msallaty," participated today, Thursday, in a meeting via zoom technology, the meeting of the Board of External Auditors of the African Union.

The meeting discussed discussing and approving the work plan for the audit of the African Union for the fiscal year ending on 31/12/2021, which was submitted by the Audit Operations Committee.

The Acting President of the SAI gave a speech in which he praised the efforts made by the Chairman and members of the Council as well as the Executive Secretary of the Council in organizing and managing this meeting, according to what was published by the official page of the SAI.

He also commended the efforts of the Audit Operations Committee through the plan that was presented to the Board, wishing the Audit Operations Committee success in the task assigned to it.

The participation of the Libyan Audit Bureau comes within the framework of its membership in the Council of External Auditors of the African Union, which consists of heads of supreme audit institutions.
