President of the High Election Commission discusses with head of the Civil Registry mechanisms for checking data of the final voter register.

 Tripoli, 18 November 2021(Lana) The President of the High National Election Commission Imad Al-Sayeh, met on Thursday, at the commission's headquarters in Tripoli, the Head of the Civil Registry Mohamed Baltamar, in the presence of Commission’s council member Abdul Hakim al-Shaab.

The meeting focused on mechanisms for checking voter register data, after completing the distribution of voting cards to citizens, and matching them with those of the Civil Registry, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the final voter register.

Baltamar said the Civil Registry was prepared to cooperate with the Commission, to overcome the difficulties faced by its executive body and support them with information to give the electoral process the highest degree of credibility.
