Libyan-American Friendship Association welcomes US efforts .

Tripoli, 18 November, 2021 (Lana) - The Libyan-American Friendship Association welcomed the position of the United States of America, and the efforts of its ambassador and envoy to Libya to support the elections and achieve stability in the country.

The association said in a statement issued Wednesday in Tripoli, a copy of which was received by the Libyan News Agency, that it is following up the international community’s initiatives to push the political process in Libya towards elections to express the will of the Libyan people, and since the United States government is part of this international movement, it blesses the efforts of Ambassador and Special Envoy to Libya Richard Norland in encouraging the elections and expressing the intentions of the US administration and the American people in achieving stability, prosperity and peace in Libya.
