In a statement to Lana: source in electoral management (Mountain-1) confirms office stopped work today after security broke up gathering rejecting candidacy of Saif Gaddafi.

Gharyan, 15 November 2021 (Lana) A source in the electoral management office (Jabal-1) said work in the office was temporarily suspended on Monday, after some enthusiastic youths opposed to Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi's candidacy for the presidency gathered Monday morning in front of the management headquarters in Gharyan.

 The source, who asked not to be named, said in a telephone conversation with the Libyan news agency that the problem was resolved after the competent security agencies dispersed the gathering, and took security measures, and that the management office will be business as usual tomorrow.

 According to Lana correspondent in Gharyan, the situation remains tense and unclear, and all kinds of developments possible, especially since some of the young people reported that they will close the headquarters of the management this evening and make a statement explaining the reasons for the closure.
