Tripoli, 27 October, 2021 (Lana) - Head of Criminal Investigation Agency, Brig Mahmoud Ashour discussed Tuesday with the head and members of the mass graves team the progress of the team's work in carrying out the tasks assigned to it.

During the meeting, he reviewed the tasks carried out by the team from the discovery of mass graves and the exhumation of the bodies and the identification of their identities during the last period in the Tarhuna region, all the way to the last body that was exhumed last Saturday in the agricultural project 5 km Tarhuna.

The team confirmed that work is continuing based on the instructions issued by the head of the agency and in cooperation with the forensic medicine and the search for missing persons.

The head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Brig Mahmoud Ashour, praised the efforts made by the team, explaining the extent of the human and professional responsibility they bear.
