HNEC Inserts Nomination List Forms for Candidacy for Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

 Tripoli, 24 October 2021 (Lana) The High National Elections Commission has inserted the nomination list forms for candidacy for the presidential and parliamentary elections, as stipulated for in the electoral laws, among the documents required for candidacy.

The Commission explained, in a statement on its official SMS page, that by including these forms, it aimed to allow sufficient time for candidates to prepare their documents and submit them within the prescribed period for applying for candidacy.

The head of the High National Elections Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh, confirmed that this procedure was designed to allow stakeholders to challenge the names mentioned in them within 48 hours from the date of publication, in addition to enabling voters to confirm their names and the registered centers to receive their electoral cards in a process that will be announced later.
