Minister of Foreign Affairs discusses with Netherlands Ambassador preparations for upcoming elections.

Tripoli, 11 October, 2021 (Lana) = Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush discussed, Monday, with the Dutch ambassador accredited to Libya, Dolph Hochjoenich, preparations made by all state institutions concerned with the upcoming elections, as well as the efforts made by the 5 + 5 committee and the remarkable and important progress it has achieved to establish security and achieve Stability in all parts of Libya, the latest developments in Libya and the existing bilateral relations between the two countries were also reviewed.

The media office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity indicated that during the meeting, which was held at the ministry’s headquarters in, Tripoli, they talked about the initiative to stabilize Libya. The Minister of Foreign Affairs gave an overview of the contents of this initiative in its political, security, and economic aspects, confirming Libya’s intention to organize an international ministerial conference on the 21st of May.
