Rome, October 9, 2021 (LANA) - The delegation of the House of Representatives participated in the opening session of the preliminary parliamentary meeting of the Twenty-sixth Climate Conference, held in the Italian capital, Rome.

    Parliament sources stated that the preliminary parliamentary meeting of the 26th Climate Conference, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union in partnership with the Italian Parliament, aims to adopt a draft final document for the 26th Conference to chart a course for increasing parliamentary action on climate change, which will be launched next November in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

   The parliament delegation, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, "Fawzi Al-Nuiri", the Chairman of the Legislative and Constitutional Committee in the House, "Ramadan Shambash", and the parliament member, "Rabia Bouras".
