President discusses with President of Supreme Judicial Council preparations for upcoming elections, judicial and legal procedures.

Tripoli, 7 October, 2021 (Lana) - President of Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, discussed, Thursday, with President of Supreme Judicial Council, Justice Mohamed Al-Hafi, files related to the preparations for the electoral process, and the accompanying judicial and legal procedures, in addition to many other important issues.

This is in the context of consultation, coordination and preparation for the next stage, and ways to overcome difficulties before judicial bodies and courts.

The President stressed, during the meeting, the importance of communicating with the judicial authorities, in order to contribute to transcending this important stage in the history of Libya. He further reaffirmed that the Libyans have no choice but to hold presidential and parliamentary elections.

He pointed out that the Presidential Council will continue to push for the implementation of its tasks, foremost of which is comprehensive national reconciliation, and the establishment of the electoral process on schedule.
