Presidency Council and Holland Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Human Rights Area.

Tripoli, 23 September 2021(Lana) Presidency Council Human Affairs Counselor Maha Bin Khalifa and Director of Local Government and Elections Office Abdul Baset Godan held a meeting with Deputy Head of Mission at the Dutch Embassy in Tripoli Fifyan Hugen , and Rana Dozan in Charge of Humanitarian File at the Embassy to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two sides and how to benefit from Dutch expertise in the area of human rights and national reconciliation given that Holland is member of the special team assigned with implementing international humanitarian law and human rights.

According to the Council Communication Office Khalifa and Godan stressed need for earnest work on this file, to reach results that could contribute to success of the national reconciliation effort and pave the way for Dec. 24 elections.
