HNEC Says it Officially Takes Hold of Presidential Election Law.

Tripoli, 12 September 2021(Lana) The High National Election Commission announced Sunday that it has taken hold of the Presidential Election Law which has been enacted by the House of Representatives.

 The Commission said it has taken hold on the Law No. (1) of 2021, issued by the House of Representatives on election of the president of state, which included 77 articles explaining the authorities of the president and election and candidacy conditions.

 The House of Representatives referred over the last two days referred the president election law to the High National Election Commission and the UN Support Mission in Libya, which sets all its mission and competence and terms of candidacy to the post.
