New York, September 11, 2021 (LANA) - France on Friday renewed its call for holding the Libyan elections on their scheduled date on December 24.

  Its representative to the United Nations, Nicolas de Riviere, called in his speech to the Security Council on Friday on the situation in Libya, all Libyan leaders to assume their responsibilities to complete the electoral process on time.

"France will support any Libyan resolution supported by the United Nations to clarify the legal basis for holding these elections," he said.
