Prime Minister and the President of the Tunisian Republic discuss, in a meeting at the Carthage Palace, the issue of border security, combating terrorism, health-related difficulties and movement between border crossings.

Tunis, September 10, 2021 (Lana) - The Tunisian News Agency said that, the issue of securing borders, combating terrorism, health-related difficulties and movement between crossings was the focus of the meeting of the President of the Republic, Qais Saeed, with the Prime Minister of National Unity Government, "Abdul Hamid Dbaiba".

 According to the agency, the meeting constituted an opportunity to review the fruitful cooperation relations between Tunisia and Libya in various fields, to emphasize the unity of destiny and the inseparability of development, stability and security in the two countries, and to distance the bilateral relations from all attempts to disrupt the sake of a better future for the two brotherly peoples.

The two sides agreed to urge the concerned structures in the two countries to find solutions to the difficulties related to health and the movement of people and goods at the crossings, in addition to exchanging information to secure borders, combat terrorism and organized crime, and confront all attempts to target the unity and stability of the two countries and the region.
