Tripoli, September 1, 2021 (LANA) - Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Interior, "Khaled Mazen", visited the headquarters of the General Administration of Security Operations. He was received by the Director of the Administration, Major General "Ali Al-Nuwaisri" and a number of directors of departments, heads of branches and officers in the administration.

On the sidelines of this visit, the Minister held a meeting with the 5 + 5 Military Committee and the Security Arrangements Committee, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General "Mahmoud Saeed" and the Director of the General Administration of Central Support, Brigadier General "Mohammed Fathallah", during which future security and financial arrangements were discussed.

During the meeting, the Minister of Interior expressed the ministry's readiness to fulfill all duties, including the establishment of gates and stationing points, and the conduct of mobile patrols to secure traffic and the movement of citizens on the public road.

The Minister thanked the Military Committee and the Security Arrangements Committee, for the efforts made, which contributed to securing the coastal road, calling for more effort and giving in the service of the public interest.
