Tripoli, August 11, 2021 (LANA) - The Director of the Vaccination Department at the Center for Disease Control, "Abdul Baset Smeio" said that the vaccination campaign was launched today, Wednesday, after 60 new vaccination centers were allocated in Tripoli, and 60 centers in Benghazi, in order to speed up the pace of vaccination.

"Smeio" added in a statement that the campaign started with the remainder of the Russian vaccine and will continue with the Chinese vaccine, the first dose released from drug control, in preparation for the implementation of the second dose of AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Pfizer, which will arrive soon.

He stressed that the total number of vaccinators against the Corona virus reached 782,008, indicating that vaccination centers continue to work for those wishing to obtain the vaccine.
