Tripoli, August 01, 2021 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Cooperation and Organizations, Omar Keti, met today, Sunday, with the head of the EUBAM mission to Libya, Natalina Cea.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a publication on its official page that the meeting discussed laying the necessary legal and technical foundations for the headquarters agreement for the EUBAM mission, as well as increasing the number of staff of the European Union mission to Libya and looking forward to strengthening mutual relations between Libya and the European Union.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the European Affairs Department, "Ahmed Muhammad Al-Maqhour", the advisor for relations and cooperation in the EUBAM mission, "Mansour Al-Masallati", and the director of the office of the undersecretary, "Tariq Al-Obaidi".
It is noteworthy that this mission was established on May 22, 2013 and is a civilian mission under the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), and this mission is concerned with border management, law enforcement and criminal justice.
