40000 Russian Vaccines Given in Public Places in the Capital.Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 24 July 2021(Lana) The Medical Supplies Body ‘MSB’ has announced that 40000 vaccines of the Russian type have now started to be given to the general public in places around the capital Tripoli.
The Head of the medical supplies warehouse Abdul Mun’em Al Ouzi told the Libyan news agency the move was part of cooperation between the MSB and Tripoli Health Services aimed at vaccinating as large numbers of people as possible.
Al Ouzi said specialized teams were assigned by Tripoli Health Services to administer the vaccines and selected places for this purpose which included the Martyrs Square, the squre adjacent to the Abu Salim Hospital, the Polyclinic in Ain Zara, Suk Al Gomoa, the Medical Centre Abu Shousha, and in front of the National Centre for Disease Control in Gurji.
The National Centre for Disease Control in collaboration with Medical Supplies Body have launched a campaign for similar vaccination in the cities of Al Zawiyah, Zwara and Misrata during which more than 30000 were vaccinated.
