Tripoli, July 06, 2021 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, "Mohammed Khalil Issa," expressed his hope for the return of Turkish companies, to resume their work and contributions to the reconstruction of Libya.
During his meeting today, Tuesday, at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Libya "Kanaan Yilmaz" stressed the depth of relations between the two countries, and the importance of working to implement the cooperation agreements signed between the two sides.
Issa also expressed - during the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Department of Asian and Australian Affairs at the ministry, "Mohamed Al-Zanati" - his appreciation and gratitude for the Turkish government's position in support of achieving security and stability in Libya, and its welcome to the formation of the new executive authority consisting of the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador affirmed at the outset of the meeting his readiness to work on strengthening cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.
