Abu Janah receives the Algerian ambassador after the opening of his country's consulate in Tripoli.

Tripoli, January 10, 2022 (LANA) - The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Ramadan Abu Janah," received in Tripoli today, the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Libya, "Suleiman Shanine", on the occasion of the opening of the Consulate General of Algeria in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

At the outset of the meeting, the Algerian ambassador praised the efforts made by the national unity government in regional and international forums to achieve Libya's stability and territorial integrity.

During the meeting, Abu Janah expressed his appreciation for the positions of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, its government and people, with Libya during the past years, praising Algeria’s efforts that were made to resolve the crisis, through communication with the international community and all Libyan parties, in order to reach a settlement that contributes to the stability of Libya.

For his part, the Algerian ambassador expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the cooperation that he touched from the government of national unity, wishing that Libya and its people would enjoy prosperity and achieve peace and stability during the coming period.
