Al-Manfi and Oun discuss ways to remove obstacles facing the oil sector

Tripoli, January 9, 2022 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met today, Sunday, in Tripoli, with the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Oun.

The media office of the President of the Presidential Council said that Al-Manfi and Oun discussed the progress of production and ways to remove some obstacles that hinder the increase in oil production, and improve the conditions of the sector in general.

  It is noteworthy that Libya's oil production fell below 800,000 barrels per day, due to maintenance work in the east of the country, in addition to the closure of four oil fields in the west.
