NCDC Registers 1996 New Coronavirus Cases, 1075 Recoveries and 28 Deaths.

Tripoli, 5 August 2021(Lana) The National Centre for Disease Control NCDC said Thursday it recorded 1996 new Coronavirus cases, 1075 recoveries and 28 deaths.

The Centre said it received 9425 specimen on Wednesday, of which 7429 specimen turned out to be negative, 1996 positive, with a ratio of positive cases of 21% of total tests.

This brings to 262948 the total number of Coronavirus cases since outbreak of pandemic in Libya in 2020, of which 62571 active cases, 196714 recoveries and 3663 deaths, while the number of those received the Coronavirus vaccine have reached 737417.
