Prime Minister meets with Zawia City Dignitaries to Explore difficulties and problems experienced.

Tripoli, 5 August, 2021 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba met, Thursday, with a number of dignitaries of the city of Zawia, in the presence of the mayor of its municipality, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.

During the meeting, which was held at the Cabinet Office, the Mayor invited the Prime Minister to visit the city, to find out the difficulties and problems in the region.

In turn, the Prime Minister listened to a clarification from the dignitaries about the security events that took place in the past few days on the coastal road linking Tripoli and Al-Zawiya, and their recommendations to prevent a recurrence of such events.

They also welcomed the government's efforts to activate local administration and give powers to municipalities.

During the meeting, the Covid-19 situation of the city of Al-Zawiya and the problems facing the city's isolation centers were discussed, and in this regard, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Health to urgently address these bottlenecks.
