Ministry of Health Imposes New Restrictions to Curb Coronavirus Infections.

Tripoli, 25 July 2021(Lana) Minister of Health Ali Al Zenati highlighted importance of vaccinating against the Coronavirus, to create communal immunity to defeat the pandemic.

Speaking at a meeting of the Scientific and Epidemic Committee yesterday Al Zenati called for a host of measures to be introduced to curb the spread of the virus, including creation of quarantines inside all medical centres, distribution of vaccines to all medical centres, vaccination points in the municipalities and activation of anti-infection department in hospitals and medical centres.

The Minister also called for awareness to be raised of the seriousness of the pandemic through TV channels and social media, and increasing tests by enhancing the daily capacity of labs across the country.
