Electricity cut off in Al Gabal Al Gharbi after Two Power Transformers Exploded.

Shakshouk, 24 June 2021(Lana) An explosion of two power transformers, triggered by high temperatures, has led to a power outage in the Al Gabal Al Gharbi mountainous region in Western Libya.

Sources in the area of Shakshouk told the Libyan News Agency the explosion occurred on the 11k power line and cut power in the towns of Shakshouk, Jenawen, Jadou, Matour Al Sidra, Al Kasrat and Al Riya’iena .

The Electricity Company has sent maintenance teams to the region to do the maintenance job.
