Antalya, 19 June 2021(Lana) Government of National Unity Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush has discussed with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussain bilateral relations and return of Iraqi Embassy to work from Tripoli.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister reiterated, at the meeting held here on Friday, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Iraq’s support for the international efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability to Libya and the political choice to meet Libyans aspirations.

The Iraqi Minister said his country was interested in re-opening of the Embassy to resume its duty of promoting exchange between the two countries.

Al Mangoush said Libya was prepared to provide assistance for the Embassy to return to the capital Tripoli.
