Al Dbeiba Discuss with American Congressman Ted Deutch Holding Elections on set Time and Withdrawal of Mercenaries.

Tripoli, 18 June 2021(Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba discussed on the phone with US Republican Congressman Ted Deutch a number of key issues regarding the current phase in Libya.

Al Dbeiba tweeted Thursday that he has talked to the US Republican Congressman about the sincere work Libyans are engaged in, to reconstruct the country and prepare for the elections, lauding his effort as part of the Libya Stability Act, and telling him that the Libyan people appreciated his commitment to democracy and peace.

On his part, the US Congressman also tweeted that he has conducted a phone call with Al Dbeiba during which they discussed holding free and fair elections on the set time, unifying the institutions, withdrawing of foreign fighters, protecting migrants and ensuring delivery of humanitarian aid.
