President of Presidency Council Meets Head of Egyptian Intelligence.

Tripoli, 17 June 2021(Lana) President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi met on Thursday the Head of Intelligence in Egypt Abbas Kamel.

The sides discussed activation of the Libyan-Egyptian Joint Committee and upgrading exchange between thw two countries in all areas.

Kamel conveyed compliments of Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Alsisi to the Presidency Council, the Government and the Libyan people.

The President of Presidency Council lauded the positive role of Egypt in promoting national reconciliation in Libya, asserting that the relationship between Libya and Egypt was historical, and Egypt’s security and that of Libya are one.

The President urged the return of Egyptian companies to contribute to the reconstruction process, and cooperation in the energy sector and support for national reconciliation.

He invited President to visit Libya as soon as possible.
