Tripoli, 16 June, 2021 (Lana) - The work of the Second Islamic Summit on Science and Technology for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries, under the title “Science, Technology and Innovation: Opening New Horizons”, began Wednesday, with the participation of Libya represented by the member of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi.” ".

Sources in the Media Office of the Presidential Council told the Libyan News Agency that the member of the Presidential Council will deliver a speech during this summit that includes the Libyan vision in activating the work of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and benefiting from modern scientific and technical developments in its programs to serve the Islamic peoples in this respect, and to enhance the capabilities of Islamic countries in the map of projects future in the world, especially in areas capable of achieving development and prosperity in Islamic countries.

 The summit agenda includes many themes on solutions, plans, policies and innovations that motivate OIC countries to overcome challenges and pursue a development process that benefits all.
