The foreign minister is discussing with her Tunisian counterpart the agenda of the Arab foreign ministers meeting in Qatar next week.

Tripoli, June 13, 2021 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, received today, Sunday, a phone call from her counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Othman Al-Jarandi.

The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the call was (in the context of coordinating positions between the two countries on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, especially those that will be presented on the agenda of the meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled to be held in Qatar next week, and that (the conversation was an occasion during which Minister Al-Grundi renewed Emphasizing Tunisia’s support for the political track in Libya, expressing satisfaction with the dynamism witnessed by the Tunisian-Libyan relations recently, especially through the exchange of visits between senior officials, the return of commercial movement and the resumption of flights between the two countries.

On the other hand, the two ministers stressed the importance of good preparation for the upcoming bilateral benefits, foremost of which is the meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Tunisian-Libyan Joint Higher Committee at the level of the foreign ministers of the two countries.
