More Than 90 MPs Call for Campaign of Support for Palestine.

Tripoli, 15 May 2021(Lana) 91 members of Parliament have called on the Government of National Unity to launch an official campaign in support of Palestinians facing blatant aggression by Zionist occupation.

The MPs called, in a statement they released on Friday, on the Waqaf and Islamic Affairs Authority to issue instructions to mosque preachers to highlight the Palestinian issue in their sermons and pray for the Palestinian defenders.

The statement urged the Foreign Ministry to liaise with Arab and Islamic states to take a unified position towards the Zionist occupation and aggression on Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation is waging an aggressive assault on the Gaza Strip, clashes with Palestinians inside the occupied territories in the West Bank following clashes triggered by a Zionist plan to evict Palestinian families from their homes in Hai Al Sheikh Jerrah in East Jerusalem.
