UNSMIL Invites Libyan Political Dialogue Forum to Meet to Discuss Constitutional Foundation.

Tripoli, 12 May 2021(Lana) The UN Support Mission in Libya UNSMIL has invited members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum to meet on May 26 and 27, to discuss the constitutional foundation which has been deliberated by the Legal Committee.

The Forum will have to discuss, at the meeting to be carried by the media, what the Legal Committee failed to decide upon, particularly in regard to presidential elections and other issues.

UN Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kupis has referred the draft proposal on the constitutional foundation for elections to the general Forum meeting.
