American ambassador expresses the readiness of American companies to cooperate to develop the health sector in Libya.

 Tripoli, May 05, 2021 (LANA) - The Minister of Health in the Government of National Unity, Dr. Ali Al-Zinati, welcomed cooperation with the United States of America in the field of developing the health sector in Libya.

This came during a meeting held by Al-Zinati via Zoom technology with the US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland.

Ambassador "Norland" stressed during the meeting his country's support for the health sector in Libya; He also expressed the readiness of American companies to cooperate in the health sector, especially with regard to providing the vaccine against the emerging corona virus.

During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation between the two countries in the health sector, and the extent to which the various American experiences in this field are being utilized.

The meeting also touched on the global epidemiological situation represented in the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), and the need to join all efforts to eliminate it by discussing the mechanism for providing vaccines.
