Tripoli, 2 May, 2021 (Lana) - Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed, Sunday, with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Jan Kubi, preparing for the general elections scheduled to be held on December 24 of this year.

 The meeting also discussed Security Council Resolution No. (2570) for the year 2021, related to the general elections scheduled to be held on December 24 of this year, and the roadmap that will lead to July 1, the effective start date for the implementation of the upcoming December 24 elections.

The meeting also reviewed the Commission’s plan to implement the elections, and ways to overcome obstacles and obstacles that may face the implementation process.
