Tripoli, April 22, 2021 (WAL) - The Minister of the Interior, Brigadier, Khaled Mazen, discussed today, Thursday, with the German ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza, the prospects for joint security cooperation between the two friendly countries, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Illegal Immigration Affairs, Muhammad Al-Shaibani.

During the meeting, which took place at the office of the Ministry of Interior in Tripoli, the issue of illegal immigration was addressed to develop appropriate solutions to reduce it in a way that ensures that the sovereignty of the Libyan state is not compromised, in addition to a number of security issues related to training to raise the efficiency and capabilities of the Ministry of Interior’s employees in security work.

During this meeting, the minister stressed the importance of cooperation with the German side in the file of the elections that will take place at the end of this year, because of their important role in bringing the country to stability.
