Italy Renews Support for National Unity Government Effort to Unify Institutions to Push Economic Development and Upgrade Cooperation Between the Two Countries.

Rome, 20 April 2021(Lana) Italy has renewed its support for Libyan National Unity Government effort to unify state institutions to achieve economic development and bilateral cooperation.

This came at a meeting Libyan Ambassador to Rome Omar Al Tarhouni held with the Chair of foreign Relations Committee in the Italian Chamber of Deputies Piero Fassino to discuss diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Libyan Embassy in Rome said Fassino expressed at a meeting was held in the Italian Parliament headquarters in the capital his country’s support for the NUG to unify the institutions of the state to achieve economic development and boost bilateral cooperation.
