Tripoli, April 20, 2021 (LANA) - Minister of Health Ali Al-Znati discussed today, Tuesday, with North Korea's ambassador to Libya, "Ju Jin-Hyok", ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of health.

During the meeting, a mechanism was discussed for the return of medical and auxiliary medical personnel as soon as possible to contribute to the success of the domestic treatment program that the Ministry of Health is seeking.

The minister emphasized the depth of relations between Libya and Korea, government and people, and praised the efforts made by the medical and auxiliary medical personnel working in hospitals, and the good impact they had on the people of the south.

The Minister of Health also asked the ambassador to open the door for cooperation between the two countries, through logistical support to the sector, such as providing flying ambulances, ambulances, etc., and receiving the management of some hospitals in the south.

For his part, the ambassador stressed that Korea has a long history of health cooperation with Libya, expressing seeking to return as soon as possible after it was interrupted as a result of the security conditions, the global crisis and the precautionary restrictions of the Corona pandemic.
