Algerian Foreign Minister on Visit to Libya to Push Political Process.

Al GIERS, 19 April 2021(Lana) Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum is visiting Libya at the head of a delegation which included Interior Minister Kamal Beljoud, according to an Algerian Foreign Ministry statement.

Boukadoum was expected to meet the President of Presidency Council and Head of the National Unity Government as well as the High Council of State to push bilateral relations in different areas and the prospects of political settlement of the Libyan crisis.

Algerian Foreign Ministry said ‘the visit is part of ongoing effort to upgrade bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and to show support to Libyan parties in confronting current challenges particularly in relation to execution of the roadmap for a peaceful solution of the crisis.
