Head of National Unity Government Arrives in Moscow on Official Visit to Russian Federation.

Moscow, 15 April 2021(Lana) The Head of the Libyan National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Sl Dbeiba arrived in Moscow on Thursday for an official visit to Russia at the head of a delegation which included Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush, Oil Minister Mohamed Aoun and the Chief of Libyan Army Staff Mohamed Al Haddad.

According to the Government Communication Office, Al Dbeiba was welcomed by the Russian Presidential Envoy to the Middle East, North Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bugdanov and the Charge D’affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Moscow.

Al Dbeiba was expected to hold several meetings with Russian prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarovand and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu on current developments in Libya and the region, and economic and military cooperation with the Russian Federation.
