Secretary General of Arab Maghreb Says Union Prepared for 7th Mghreb Summit Under Chairmanship of Libya.

Tripoli, 12 April 2021(Lana) Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union Al Tayep Al Bakoush has said that the Union institutions were prepared for holding the 7th session of the Arab Maghreb Union under chairmanship of Libya, the Current Chairman of the Union.

In a statement to the Libyan news agency on his visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of Youth in Tripoli, Al Bakoush said ‘the General Secretariat in the current phase is working on revitalizing the Union’s bodies particularly possible holding of the 7th summit.

Al Bakoush met Minister of Youth Fatahullah Al Zeni.

He said his visit to Libya was an opportunity to hold meetings with the President of Presidency Council and the Foreign Minister to discuss cooperation between the Union’s Chairmanship and the institutions.

An agreement to bolster cooperation between the Union and the Ministry of Youth was signed.
