Cairo, April 10, 2021 (LANA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed that his talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Qais Saeed, reflected the common will towards many issues and the distinguished relations between the two countries and to advance them in various fields to wider horizons, through the activation of cooperation frameworks and consultation mechanisms.

President Al-Sisi said in a joint press conference with the Tunisian president after their talks at the Federal Palace in Cairo today, Saturday: (Me and my brother President Qais Saeed discussed the developments of the Libyan crisis, and we stressed the need to activate the Arab role in the face of this crisis, and we welcomed the recent conclusion of the formation of the executive authority in Libya. We affirmed our readiness to provide all forms of support to it in order to enable it to fulfill its role in managing the transitional phase, hold elections as scheduled at the end of this year, end foreign interference and exit all foreign forces, mercenaries, fighters and foreign terrorists from Libya in a manner that ensures its restoration of its full and desired stability and preservation of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the capabilities of the brotherly Libyan people).
