Cairo, April 10, 2021 (LANA) - Tunisian President Qais Saeed said that his talks with President Al-Sisi in Cairo today dealt with the Libyan issue, and he hopes that Libya will move in the right direction, stressing that the two countries agreed months ago on the need to preserve the integrity of the Libyan territories and that there is no room to divide Libya, warning that partition will be a prelude to other divisions. According to the official Egyptian Middle East News Agency.

President Saeed said during the joint press conference with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi after their talks at the Federal Palace today, Saturday, that there are many risks targeting countries and societies that must be addressed, and that awareness must be clear that these risks are great, indicating that efforts must be made, in order to preserve the institutions of states and their public facilities and the cohesion of societies, stressing the need for awareness in which many national forces share the idea of the state and the preservation of societies.

The Tunisian president said: (I spoke with President Al-Sisi about the necessity of education, in order to immunize our societies against extremism and movements that do not believe in the state or the cohesion of societies).

(I also confirmed to President El-Sisi about a number of other essential issues and there is rapprochement and complete agreement around them, and we look forward to a future coming with new ideas and new means, because we seek to achieve the dreams of our people in Egypt and Tunisia, and for there to be a human dimension for a number of the issues raised), he added.
