New Pakistani ambassador expresses his country's readiness to participate in unifying Libyan institutions and training the military forces.

 Tripoli, April 10, 2021 (LANA) - The new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Libya, Rashad Jaweed, expressed his country's readiness to participate in unifying Libyan institutions, train military forces, and help establish the democratic path and reach electoral benefits.

This came during his handing over of his credentials to the President of the Presidency Council, Muhammad Al-Mnifi, as his country's ambassador to Libya.

Receiving the ambassador’s credentials, the President of the Council expressed his thanks to the Republic of Pakistan for its continued diplomatic representation in Libya at the ambassadorial level, and for the support that this represented for the political authority in the country, praising the brotherly and Islamic ties between the peoples of the two countries, adding that the presidency will work on preparing a vision for the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries in the near future.

The new Pakistani ambassador congratulated the head of the Presidency Council for unifying the political authority in the country, represented by the Presidency Council and the Government of National Unity, and wished continued prosperity and stability in Libya.

Ambassador Rashad Jaweed also expressed his country's determination to strengthen cooperation with Libya in the fields of health, education, industry, housing and infrastructure.
