President of Presidency Council Opens Holy Qu’ran Competition.

Tripoli, 5 April 2021(Lana) President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi has opened the National Trophy for memorizing the Holy Qu’ran, organized by the General Waqaf and Islamic Affairs Authority.

Nearly 100 contestants are taking part in the competition, being conducted under the theme ‘And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you.)

It aims to unite Libyans together after years of turmoil and division, and to extend support for offices of the Waqaf and Islamic Affairs Authority across the country.
